as an artist
My practice is grounded in art–science methodologies and explores how artistic research can generate forms of knowledge inaccessible to propositional language alone. Through material experimentation, embodiment, and poetic inquiry, I investigate questions of perception, transience, and more-than-human relations. Rather than illustrating scientific concepts, I approach art as an epistemological practice through which scientific, philosophical, and lived experiences become entangled. I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2023 with a degree in Fine Art, where I developed a research-led methodology situated at the intersections of contemporary art, anthropology, and biology. My work has been exhibited in institutions including the Sheldonian Theatre, the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, Christ Church, and the Ruskin School of Art, among others.
as a researcher
My research moves between visual anthropology, philosophy, biology, and artistic research, focusing on the ways knowledge emerges through images, materials, and embodied experience. I am particularly interested in non-propositional forms of knowing and in methodologies that bridge artistic practice with HTML, ethnographic, and scientific inquiry. My work has been recognised by the American Anthropological Association, the European Association of Social Anthropologists, and the Society for Humanistic Anthropology. I have presented at international conferences and seminars, including the Ocean of Life Ryukyu Seminar (Okinawa, Japan), contributing to dialogues across anthropology, environmental humanities, and artistic research.
as an educator
For over five years, I have worked as an educator, mentor, and governess across institutional and non-institutional contexts. I teach one-to-one and group sessions from secondary school to undergraduate level, specialising in Fine Art, Photography, Design, Theory of Knowledge, Sociology, and History of Art. My students have progressed to leading institutions, including Oxford and Ivy League universities. My educational practice is relational and adaptive, informed by extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners and students with diverse educational needs. Alongside tutoring, I facilitate workshops and community-based projects, approaching education as a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, critical thinking, and sensitivity to individual ways of learning.
